Crowds flock to Newton Abbot Christmas Show

WITH just under 400 entries in the 110 classes, the 92nd Newton Abbot Christmas Show Society was a great success on Saturday.

The event, which took place in Newton Abbot Cattle Market, drew in the crowds.

"There was a great turnout and it's good that people still enjoy it.

"It really brings the rural communities together," said Peter Farnsworth, secretary of the show.
