Cuts set to send Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton into administration
A Westcountry theatre is to go into administration following cuts to its public funding in recent years.
The Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton has confirmed that it will be closed from today while all options are considered.

Its 20 full-time and 35 part-time staff are expected to be made redundant today.
Trouble for the Somerset theatre, which is a registered charity, started when Arts Council England withdrew its regular funding in 2005, which preceded an annual funding cut of 25% from Taunton Deane Borough Council.
