Cyclist taken to hospital after collision with lorry on Old Bideford bridge
A woman cyclist was taken to hospital this morning after a collision with a lorry on the Old Bideford bridge.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the bridge around 10.45am.
The collision involved a Mercedes low loader breakdown recovery vehicle which is registered to Hertfordshire.
Police said the woman was not seriously injured but had a sore backside and was taken to North Devon District Hospital as a precaution.

Although the incident caused minor traffic problems, the road was cleared by 11.20am.
