Dahlias and chrysanths catch eye
SEVEN exhibitors at the recent Devon Dahlia and Chrysanthemum Society Show in Halberton are competing in the National Dahlia Show at the Bath and West Showground this week.
The Halberton event in the village hall on August 21 attracted around 300 entries from ten exhibitors.

Among the main prizewinners were John Patrick, Paul Kiddle, Ivor Kitchener, Steve Clarke, Chad Stone and Albi Berry.
The show was supported by 28 sponsors.
The prestigious national show takes place at the Bath showground from Friday to Sunday.
