Dancewear supplier is popular all over the world
THE UK's leading wholesale dancewear supplier, International Dance Supplies (IDS) based in Newton Abbot, has returned from another successful visit to the Italian Dance Fair.
The company, based at Harlequin House, Forde Court, spent four days exhibiting at one of Europe's premier dance fairs — Danza in Fiera — in Florence.

This is IDS's third successful trip to Italy in the past 12 months.
The Italian visits have been an investment on many levels, giving IDS an opportunity to learn more about the marketplace, to build brand awareness and to attract new customers.

Jonathan Lockett, creative marketing manager at IDS, said: " IDS is perfectly poised for Italy. With the broadest product range and great prices, plus a number of vocal fans already in the country willing to share their experiences with other teachers, the IDS booth was a popular destination attracting new customers with their unique and adorable costumes."
With exports in the South West at an average of three per cent, IDS exports an impressive 20 per cent to its overseas customers from Italy to Japan, New Zealand to the USA.
He added: "We are constantly receiving wonderful praise for our customer service and fast delivery.
"As we deliver from stock, and despatch the majority of our orders the same day, we often deliver to customers in Australia, the USA and Europe faster than competitors in those countries.
"As such, we are building an extremely loyal customer base similar to the one we enjoy in the UK."
Daniela Hopkins, IDS' resident Italian speaker, spent some of her time with existing Italian customers, several of whom had made the trip to Florence specifically to work with her.
Along with Jonathan and customer service manager, Rachel Proctor, Daniela also explained to new customers what makes IDS so special for dance teachers, explaining the range available and pricing and services.
Also attending the event was representatives from Miniera Delle Arti SCSD which is supplied with costumes by IDS.
The dance company, in turn, sell to their students and parents of the students.
It was good opportunity for Daniela to meet with Tina from Miniera Delle Arti SCSD after they perviously met at IDS' International Dance Teacher Conference at The Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden, London.
