Devon tavern named pub of the year finalist
An award-winning Devon pub has been shortlisted in a prestigious pub of the year competition.
The Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) has revealed that the four finalists include the Tom Cobley Tavern in Spreyton, Devon.

Landlords Carol and Roger Cudlit hope to go one better than 2008 when their pub was runner-up in Camra's pub of the year competition
The other three nominees are: the Conquerer Alehouse in Ramsgate, Kent; last year's winner, the Bridge End Inn, in Ruabon, North Wales, and the Baum in Rochdale, which is sited next to the first Co-op shop.
Camra pubs director Julian Hough outlined the special qualities of the four pubs that had made them finalists.
