Did these men witness attack?
A YOUNG man was repeatedly struck around the head by an attacker wielding a belt, say police.
Investigators have now released an image of two men they believe witnessed the early-hours assault. The 20-year-old victim was treated by paramedics following the incident in Plymouth city centre. Police say it began in the Armada Street area at around 5.30am, and continued all the way to outside Plymouth University on North Hill. They are keen to speak with anyone who thinks they may have witnessed the assault or who can provide information.
The culprit is described as a skinny Asian man of medium build, with short black hair and a little facial hair. The was around 5ft 6in to 5ft 7in tall, aged in his early 20s and wore dark jeans with a black jumper around his neck.
Police are keen to hear from the two men shown in a CCTV still, who they believe saw the incident on Sunday, November 18.
