Disruption to Goose Fair day in Tavistock after serious crash on A386
Tavistock's Goose Fair was disrupted today after a serious collision on the A386 at Tavistock.
Police said they were treating the crash, on 'Blackdown' between Mary Tavy and Lydford, as a serious collision.
A police spokesperson said: "This is likely to cause severe traffic disruption as the roads are likely to already be congested due of the fair."
The collision involved a blue BMW and a white Volkswagen Golf.

The female occupants of each car were taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by Devon Air Ambulance and a land ambulance.
A 39-year-old-woman from Tavistock suffered serious but non -life threatening injuries.
A 32-year-old woman from Okehampton had minor injuries.
Police road closures were put in place at Mary Tavy and Lydford and the Highways Agency put a full diversion in place from Sourton (junction with A30) and Parkwood Road in Tavistock.
The road was set to reopen at 1.45pm.
