Dom Thorne is man of the match in Barnstaple Colts win over Kingsbridge
BARNSTAPLE COLTS defeated in-form Kingsbridge 17-14.
The South Devon side led 7-5 at half time, replying to Dom Thorne's try with a converted score against the run of play.
In an even second half, Barnstaple took their chance from a catch and drive with Josh Beech breaking off the back of the maul to go over in the corner.
Further pressure saw Scott Warren, who had a try disallowed in the first half, burst through a gap to score a great individual try under the posts, which was converted by Calum Sumners.

Kingsbridge narrowed the deficit with a well-deserved converted try.
Barnstaple gave a large number of their squad the opportunity to play, with Danny Giblett, Ollie Sanders, James Hack, Kieron Morgan and Gareth Sloman impressing alongside man of the match Thorne.
Having found it difficult to put out a regular team, South Molton have withdrawn from the Devon Colts Merit Table.
