KIND-HEARTED schoolgirls Lauryn Waring and Naomi Harris have raised £2,480 for Rowcroft Hospice.

The 13-year-old St Cuthbert Mayne students raised £1,240 by completing a sponsored walk along the coastal path from Torquay to Brixham.

A generous donor then matched their fundraising to double the total figure.

Lauryn and Naomi raised money through sponsorship from family, friends, neighbours, teachers and pupils at St Cuthbert Mayne.
