Drat Pack swing into Pier Point
THE Drat Pack are returning to Pier Point in Torquay tomorrow night. Expect swing and jazz classics including those by Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack, as well as songs by more up to date swingers such as Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum and Robbie Williams.
There's more to it than that, though, and the night will also feature Motown classics and high energy numbers such as Dancing in the Street and Blame it on the Boogie as well as more modern tunes.
The star of the show is Exeter-based Adam Moran.
Band leader Neil Maya, also of the Neil Maya Quartet, said: "We love working with Adam.
"Not only is he a brilliant singer with a fantastic range and ability to sing in many different styles, but he is also a fabulous entertainer and front man and regularly has the band and audience in stitches with his capers."
Entrance is free and meals can be booked in advance.
The music starts at 9.30pm.
ANDY Fairweather Low and the Low Riders are at the Public Hall in Budleigh Salterton on Sunday night.

A busy musician, Andy plays with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, performing with them at this year's Glastonbury Festival. He also tours regularly with Eric Clapton.
Recently he has been recording background guitar/vocals for compatriot Tom Jones, toured France with Procul Harum keyboard-man Gary Brooker and is fresh from a tour in Japan.
The music starts at 8pm.
