Drink-driver given a year's disqualification
A CULLOMPTON man has been banned from driving for year after being caught drink-driving.
Richard Burnham, 50, of Swallow Way, Cullompton, was driving a blue Toyota Celica near his home when he was stopped on July 8. A reading showed that he had 114 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, which exceeds the 80mg limit.
In addition to the ban, he was fined £200 and instructed to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
