Elderly man dies 11 days after Chudleigh car crash
An 83-year-old man has died in hospital following a collision in Chudleigh.
Three people were taken to hospital after the collision which forced police to close the B3193 near Preston Manor works for eight hours.

Emergency services were called to the B3193 Chudleigh Road, known locally as Claypits Road, in Kingsteignton at 3.50pm on Thursday, January 3.
A Ford Fiesta, driven by a 27-year-old local woman, and a Ford Focus, containing men, aged 83-years-old and 18-years-old, were involved.

The woman and the older man were taken to hospitals in Exeter and Torbay respectively, while the teenager, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
The 83-year-old male driver from Chudleigh, who had serious leg injuries and was taken to Torbay hospital, has sadly died today.
His family have been informed, say police.
The grandson and the other female driver, who both suffered serious lower leg injuries, are now at home recovering.
A police spokesperson said: "There will be an investigation into the cause of the collision by the Serious Collisions’ Investigation Unit at Newton Abbot."
The deceased man has not been named at this time.
