Emergency services search over night for missing person on Dartmoor

Emergency services searched through the night for a missing person.

The force helicopter was deployed to help with the search on the edge of Dartmoor near Plymouth late last night.

Police patrols scoured the roads and routes on the south of the national park.

Officers said they were concerned for the safety of the missing person, believed to be from the Thames Valley area.

The search began at around 10pm last night and police said the man had been found in Plymouth at midday today.
