England trials for Jack

COACHES within the England youth rugby set-up have spotted the potential of a talented player from Tiverton who could line up against youngsters from other home nations later this season.

Tiverton High School 1st XV centre Jack Zilch, has been selected to represent the South West England U16 rugby squad.

Following a successful county championship with Devon, Jack progressed onto the regional trial in December, where he was selected to represent the South West in the regional festival, which kicks off in February. This festival will be used as a trial for the England U16 rugby squad, for the Home Nations championship, which will be held at the end of the season.
