Exeter City launch microsite for trip to Brazil in the summer of 2014
Exeter City have launched a microsite within the club’s official website regarding their planned trip to Brazil in the summer of 2014.
The site has been set up for supporters to register their interest for the trip to Rio de Janeiro, where the Grecians are scheduled to meet Fluminense at the Laranjeiras Stadium in Rio on Sunday, July 20, seven days after the World Cup final, which is also in Rio.
A statement from the club read: “The microsite is the next step towards being able to deliver a professionally-organised expedition for Exeter City fans for the 2014 tour to Brazil, and to be able to arrange a package which suits the needs of as many people as possible. Importantly, it will also help the club to ascertain the level of demand for the trip.
“It is vital that any Exeter City supporters that are interested in coming on the historic trip to Brazil next year should visit this microsite in order to register their interest. As well as helping to keep supporters abreast of any latest developments, it will also enable the club to gather accurate data to ensure that the most price-effective travel packages possible can be arranged for supporters.

Although prices are yet to be confirmed, the early suggestions are that it will cost in the region of £1,750-£2,150. That price includes economy-class return flights to Rio from Heathrow and seven nights in a four-star hotel, including breakfast.
Also included within the official tour packages will be transfers to and from the airport in Rio, a match-day ticket and return transfers from the hotel to the stadium in Rio.
The club will also aim to provide personalised travel document packaging, a souvenir certificate of attendance, an official group photograph, an official tour of the Laranjeiras Stadium and an invitation to an official reception with Paul Tisdale and the playing staff in Rio, although this is all subject to final timings being agreed.
There is still the possibility of at least one or possibly two additional matches after the match on July 20 and the additional costs of optional transfers to any other venue will be advised.
