Exmoor Zoo is named the best in the west
EXMOOR Zoo has been named one of the best attractions in the South West at an awards ceremony in Cornwall.
The South West Tourism Excellence Awards took place at the Eden Project where Exmoor Zoo was named the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year.
Lynn Reynolds, commercial manager at the zoo, said they knew they had been nominated for an award, but not which one.
She said: "We are over the moon. It is quite an achievement. We already won an award for the best attraction in Devon but have now been recognised among the best in the South West. We have also been put forward for awards that recognise visitor attractions across the whole of England."
