Fair weather?
VILLAGERS in Plymtree were upset to have to cancel their annual fair, due on the August Bank Holiday weekend, because of terrible weather.
Now organisers of that event are to hold an autumn fair, selling the items which have been stored since the rained-off event, on Saturday, November 17 from noon to 4pm at Plymtree Village Hall.
Stalls will be selling books, bric a brac, cakes and produce. There will be children's games, refreshments and a tombola.
Donations of cakes or bric a brac can be brought on the day.

Before the celebrations, at 11.30am, a tree will be planted outside the village hall to mark the end of the diamond jubilee celebrations and there will be a montage of jubilee pictures and the village's jubilee bench will be on show.
