Fallen tree blocking Plymouth road
A fallen tree caused two cars to collide on Old Laira road this morning.
The two vehicles hit each other when trying to avoid the narrow tree which had been toppled over by high winds. Neither driver suffered injuries.

Police officers and council workers were called to the scene at 11:20am after calls from concerned members of the public. They were able to clear the road within 25 minutes.
According to police reports, the council are still removing the debris but traffic is flowing smoothly in the area.
