Family rescued when boat goes aground in Kingsbridge estuary
A SPECIALIST mud rescue team were called out to help when a family became stuck as their boat grounded in the mud of Kingsbridge estuary on Saturday.
The family in their RIB Baldrick became stuck on the falling tide.
Prawle Point Coastguard were alerted that there were two adults and two children on board.
The South East Sector manager the Salcombe inshore lifeboat and the specialist mud rescue team from Teignmouth attended at lunchtime.
