Farmers blockade Morrisons depot in Bridgwater in row over milk prices
Dozens of farmers blockaded a distribution depot in Somerset last night in a row over milk prices.
Arriving in tractors stopped lorries getting in and out of the Morrisons warehouse by the M5 at Bridgwater.
They're angry about the price they get for milk which they say is driving them out of business.
The protest, which began at 8.15pm yesterday, was due go on until midnight.
The farmers protest last year led to an increase in milk prices.
Farmers for Action say that although supermarkets are paying more than last year, farmers have been hit by increased production costs.
The group's chairman David Handley told the BBC: "We've been told by the processors that the company is refusing to pay better prices and we want to give the company the chance to respond."
Mr Handley has written to Morrisons and says farmers will mount a similar protest next week if the company fails to respond.
The BBC reported that Morrisons has not commented on the farmers' action.
