Residents fears over bar bid for adult entertainment
Adult entertainment would be unsuitable in a Torbay bar, according to local residents.
Bosses at Envy, which has entrances in Abbey Road and Union Street, Torquay, have applied for adult entertainment and later opening hours.
The application asks for films to be shown from 10am to 3am seven days a week, along with nudity and an area for pole dancing. The bar has also applied to be open from 10am to 3.30am seven days a week.
Torbay Council has received three letters of objection and a petition signed by 39 people.
