Fiddler on the Roof will be a 'success'
TICKETS are on sale for Tiverton Amateur Operatic Society's 2013 musical, Fiddler on the Roof.
The musical follows the plight of poor Jewish milkman Reb Tevye and his family in the Russian shtetl of Anatevka during the early 20th century.
The hit West End show includes songs such as If I Were a Rich Man and Sunrise Sunset, and follows the story of Tevye's struggle to maintain traditions as his daughters find love and marry.
Chairman of the Tiverton Amateur Operatic Society Pauline Farr said: "Rehearsals are going very well and we are sure that this will be another success to follow on from our excellent and well supported production of the Sound of Music last year.
"Yet again we have a very strong cast who are all working hard at their singing, dancing and on the many wonderful and humorous scenes throughout the show."
The performance takes place from Monday 23 until Saturday 28 September at 7:30pm each evening at the New Hall on Barrington Street. There will be a Saturday matinee performance on Saturday 28 at 2:30pm.
Tickets from Twyford Photography, Bampton Street.
