FIREMEN washed petrol from a Torrington road last night after a motorbike crash.

One man was involved in the crash which happened at 9.34pm on the A3124 New Bridge road.

Crew Manager Daryl Anderson from Torrington Fire Station said the biker was not injured.

He said: "We went to clean a puddle of petrol off the road. We were there less than five minutes. The bike wasn't damaged and was intact."
