Flights between Westcountry and London may continue after Flybe pull out
Budget airline Easyjet is said to be poised to stage flights between the Westcountry and London.
At present flights between Newquay and the capital are provided by Flybe.
However, the Western Morning News reported earlier this year that Flybe was pulling out of its Newquay/Gatwick route from March 2014.
The company announced it was going to sell all its Gatwick landing slots to Easyjet, raising fears that the airline would use them to ply routes further afield.

But Easyjet is now understood to be considering continuing the Westcountry air corridor which would mean that flights to London continued seamlessly after Flybe’s interest ceased.
