Flood cleared of tip tackle
FLY-HALF Toby Flood will be available for England's Six Nations campaign after being cleared of a tip tackle on Worcester's Andy Goode.
The 27-year-old Leicester back was cited for the dangerous tackle during the Tigers' 19-14 victory at the start of January, but was cleared this week by an RFU disciplinary panel.
Flood is now free to play in England's Six Nations curtain-raiser at home to Scotland on Saturday, February 2, although he will face fierce competition from the likes of Owen Farrell for the No.10 shirt.
London Welsh's Neil Briggs was less fortunate, receiving a three-week ban after being cited for an incident involving Harlequins' Sam Smith during their 31-26 defeat to the champions.

Director of rugby Mark McCall has joined Saracens coaches Paul Gustard, Alex Sanderson, Kevin Sorrell and Dan Vickers in extending his contract until 2015.
Chairman Nigel Wray said: "Mark has provided outstanding service for the past three-and-a-half years, and we are delighted he has agreed to continue his excellent work."
London Irish lock Kieran Low has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
Director of rugby Brian Smith said: "Kieran Low is one of the most naturally gifted players I've worked with. He's a big fella with excellent skills and plenty of desire.
"If he keeps his feet on the ground and continues to work hard, I have no doubt that he'll play for England."
Frank Montanella has penned a new two-year deal with London Welsh.
The prop has played in 11 Premiership games this season after signing from Bourgoin last summer.
Former Wasps fly-half Alex King will join Northampton's coaching staff next season. The 37-year-old is assistant coach at Clermont Auvergne.
