Folk artists Billy Bragg, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman scoop top awards
Westcountry folk couple Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman have triumphed at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, walking away with the Best Duo title.
The husband and wife musical team, who live at Horrabridge in Devon with their twin daughters, were presented with their award live on stage at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall by Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo.
Vocalist, piano player and woodwind wizard Kathryn, and guitarist and producer Sean, first performed together in the folk rock band Equation in the late 1990s and have graced stages the world over in various guises.
They have been since taking the music scene by storm performing as a duo.

Kathryn and Sean were also nominated in the Best Original Song category for The Ballad of Andy Jacobs from their comeback album Hidden People, released in 2012.
Veteran folk singer Billy Bragg, who has a home in Dorset, picked up this year's Roots Award.
