Forced into a pit
TWO very good letters in the Herald this evening. The letter to David Cameron was excellent, but will it be heeded? Old BJ is at it again, almost daily now. He would make a good prime minister or even councillor at a lower level! He can certainly make a good point and hits the nail on the head each time.
Moving on, what has happened to HMS Plymouth, dismally failed by the council and people of its namesake? A hushed-up scuppering and then heard of no more in this land which she so proudly represented.
And more still, what is happening about our much-needed airport? If anything, it is a downright disgrace, as bad as being refused a referendum by the Prime Minister.
Do we not count, have we no say or voice in what we want? We all may have had a laugh at Rab C Nesbitt's character, forever talking about a city of culture in Scotland. Let's get our priorities right, put first things first then maybe we could start building on the foundation left by our forefathers.
Without these viable housing facilities, we are unable to make any improvement from the huge pit we are unfortunately being forced into.
Councillors, get your finger out of the pie and listen to the people"
