French circus show Ordures et Menagère at Sterts, near Liskeard
FRENCH circus show Ordures et Menagere pops under the biggish top at Sterts tonight.
What translates as rubbish and housework comes from Hors Pistes – "off track" – from Carcassonne in southern France.
It's off-beat, too: the story of how Mr and Mrs Anybody's ordinary quiet life is peeled to back reveal hidden depths, dreams and passions.
A set of contemporary circus artists uses everyday objects to crate an energetic, thrilling and humorous performance.

Ordures et Menagere and the Nos Lowen Folk festival tomorrow close the summer season at the indoor-outdoor venue at Upton Cross, near Liskeard.
BILL Bailey is back for more quavers and qualms and to deliver the laughs.
There'll be the usual unusual mix of comedy and music in his Qualmpeddler show at Plymouth Pavilions on Tuesday.
His second stint, following April's sell-out at the same venue, blends his worries about the modern world with anything else that pops into his head, including a dub version of Downton Abbey.
Popping into his hands will be any instruments that are within reach.
So expect some folk bouzouki and a touch of Horntallica – a horn-inspired take on a heavy metal band.
