Fuel spillage closes A38 after motorcycle and lorry collide
A section of the A38 in Devon has been closed after a collision involving a motorcyclist and a lorry left fuel on the carriageway.
Highways staff, police and the fire brigade were called to the incident at Harcombe Bends near Haldon Hill at 8:30am today.
A yellow Harley Davidson motorcycle and a grey box van lorry had collided on the Exeter-bound carriageway.
The rider of the Harley was up and walking around when emergency services arrived, although it is thought they suffered an arm injury.
