Future is looking bright for town's household appliance store
BRIGHTHOUSE in Newton Abbot's Market Walk has reported positive trade since it opened in November last year.
The store, which sells household appliances created eight new jobs for the town by employing three full-time and five part-time members of staff.
Store manager Josh Morgan said: "Since we opened the store has proven to be extremely popular among shoppers and we have been trading well. It is the only Brighthouse in Newton Abbot and is great to be among the many shops at Market Walk."
Roger Smith, Market Walk centre manager, added: "Brighthouse has been a great addition to the centre. We have 24 stores at Market Walk with shops ranging from high street retailers such as New Look and Bon Marche to independent cafes and restaurants including Mr Biscuits and Fuchsia. We are delighted the store has traded well in the first two months"
