YEOVIL Town's on-loan Tottenham Hotspur teenagers, attacking midfielder Ryan Mason and central defender Steven Caulker, have been selected for England Under-19 international duty.

Both players will be in the England Under-19 squad for a friendly against Turkey at Scunthorpe on Tuesday, November 17.

The Glovers' on-loan Swansea City midfielder Shaun MacDonald has been selected for the Welsh Under-21 squad for European Under-1 Championship qualifier away to Bosnia on Wednesday, November 18. Yeovil are scheduled to host Southend in League One on Saturday, November 14, and Charlton Athletic on Saturday, November 21, at Huish Park.

EXETER City's reserve side were in friendly action at Cardiff City yesterday, and a strong Bluebirds' side won the match 2-0.

Ross McCormack fired home a free-kick following a foul by Troy Archibald-Henville, and Tony Capaldi added the second goal three minutes before half-time.

TAUNTON Town suffered their sixth successive Zamaretto Southern League Division One South & West defeat when they were beaten 3-0 at home by Mangotsfield United last night,

Kyle Tooze, Neil Arndale and former Tiverton Town striker Tom Knighton scored to put the Field 3-0 up within the opening 33 minutes.

The Devon derby between Toolstation Western League leaders Ilfracombe Town and Dawlish Town at Marlborough Park was postponed due to the heavy weather.

Dawlish slipped a place to seventh in the table as Longwell Green Sports drew 0-0 at home to Corsham Town to move up to sixth spot.

REIGNING Carlsberg South West Peninsula League champions Bodmin Town suffered their fourth League defeat of the season when they lost 2-0 in last night's Premier Division game at Launceston,

Both of Launceston's goals came in the final three minutes of the first half, with Dominic Richardson and Sam Davey on target to complete a fifth straight win for the Clarets.

Newquay moved up to join-second in Division One West after beating Foxhole Stars 3-1 at Mount Wise.

An own goal and Paul Hampshire's free-kick saw the Peppermints lead 2-0 at the interval and, although Mark Rowe pulled a goal back, Jake Hartigan's 77th-minute goal sealed victory for the home side.

Exmouth Town and Axminster Town shared eight goals in a thrilling Division One East encounter at Southern Road, where the visitors finished the game with nine men after the dismissals of Joel Gosling and Adam Cowling.

Exmouth had Ben Shephard, Dave O'Connor, Ali Sawer and Paul Dowling on target, with Alex Wheatley, Sam Dibling (two) and Gosling replying.
