The sale, by Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne, includes a Great Western pannier tank 'Pansy', and a Great Western 4-6-0 locomotive 'Torquay Manor', complete with tender. Both locomotives have purpose-built cases, which were used to transport the trains to exhibitions.

Lawrences auctioneer Simon Jones said: "These are beautifully made locomotives of exceptional quality. These large gauge locomotives are extremely popular with collectors, and they should attract a lot of interest."
