Harry is 250,000th visitor to use railway since reopening
THE 250,000th passenger to travel on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway since it reopened in 2004 was 9-year-old Harry Pitcher from Bristol.
Harry visits Woody Bay Station as often as he can.

"He's having a wonderful time," said his mum. "Everyone is so friendly here."
The railway, which welcomes 30,000 to 40,000 visitors a year, is already proving popular this season with the school holiday boom yet to come.

Its next big fundraising event is the Steam Gala at the end of September, but fundraisers are busy all year.
The railway trust has ambitious plans to extend the existing one-mile track another eight miles, to run between Lynton and Wistlandpound Reservoir.
It is in a consultation period about the proposal at the moment before planning permission is sought.
The hope is ultimately to bringing more business and jobs to Exmoor.
The station welcomes clubs and groups who would like a day trip with a difference, to enjoy rides on the train, and use the café and shop.
It is also the ideal backdrop for photos, and is popular with motor club rallies etc.
