Hatherleigh man arrested after vehicle overturns near Meeth
A 46-year-old man from Hatherleigh has been arrested after his vehicle overturned near Meeth last night.
The man was driving a white Defender Land Rover which crashed into a field off the A386 at 10pm.

He was treated for superficial injuries by paramedics at the scene but was arrested after failing a breath test.
Fire crews from Torrington, Hatherleigh, North Tawton also attended the scene and a rescue tender was also mobilised from Taunton.

They released the driver and the two passengers, who were also in the vehicle.
Police confirmed the two passengers were uninjured and that the A386 was closed until midnight.
The road will be closed again this morning to allow a crane to remove the vehicle from the field.
The driver remains in custody.
