Health officers probe food exhibition illness
Environmental health officers are investigating 36 reports of a vomiting and diarrhoea bug following a food exhibition.
Several people were unwell after the event, hosted by commercial food wholesaler Ilfracombe Foodservice at Ilfracombe’s Landmark theatre on March 5.

North Devon Council’s environmental health team said it was unclear if the symptoms originated from the event.
Those affected included visitors, wholesaler and theatre staff, although some were staff not at the event.
