Helping hand for healthy group
FUNDRAISERS have handed a £1,000 cheque to a group which helps the community stay healthy.
Torpoint and Rame Lions presented the money to Community Health Around Torpoint (CHAT). Funds were raised by the group's Father's Day walk last year.
CHAT chairman Lynne Murray and colleague Becky Lingard attended a Lions meeting to receive the money and give a talk about the group's activities. CHAT raises money and supports community health activities in areas such as diabetes and cardiac care.
