To mark its quarter century it held a ball Boringdon Park Golf Club, which included an auction and raised nearly £4,000 for Help for Heroes.

The event was hosted by The Herald's popular columnist David FitzGerald and guests enjoyed top comedy from stand-up star Mick Miller.

Mike Burr, managing director, said: "Reaching this landmark is a huge achievement, particularly in a volatile industry.

"It pays testament to the loyal customers, hard working staff and the re-investment shown by the owner."

LTC Group87's range of businesses include teams of scaffolders, a full range of diesel, electric and bi-energy powered booms and scissor lifts; hoist installation for construction and non-construction projects, and training courses for companies or individuals.
