The work is due to start on Monday 11 March until Friday 15 March, from 7pm.
Devon County Council is asking road users to be alert to the maintenance, and is warning of potential delays.
Councillor Stuart Hughes, the Council’s Cabinet Member with responsibility for Highways and Transportation, said;
“It’s normal that road surfaces get a build up of tyre rubber and other material over time, and therefore it’s important to monitor them and carry out maintenance as required to keep them in a safe condition. This work will improve the road’s resistance to skidding and will therefore benefit the safety of all road users.”
