House fire at Newton Abbot
The Fire Service were called to reports of a building on fire at Windsor Avenue, Newton Abbot, at around 1pm on Saturday afternoon. Three appliances were mobilised, two from Newton Abbot and one from Torquay.
Upon arrival crews confirmed there to be fire in the ground floor kitchen of a two-storey detached property. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 2 covering jets, ventilation equipment and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
