*BEN AFFLECK once made a replica Batcave entrance in his house, director KEVIN SMITH has revealed.
The filmmaker, who has worked with Ben on six films, including Dogma and Jersey Girl, admitted that he was surprised by the Oscar-winning star’s love for the caped crusader when he bought his old home.
Kevin told the Hollywood Babble-On podcast: “His house, that I would end up buying, when I first saw it, he was touring me through the place and said, ‘Come here, I gotta show you my room’.
“He brings me into the room and goes, ‘Look at this’. There’s an office room and this beautiful bookcase – he reached under and he clicked something and all of a sudden, the bookcase opened.”

*MILEY CYRUS’s dad BILLY RAY CYRUS has defended the singer’s performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The 20-year-old former child star’s performance with ROBIN THICKE at the ceremony – gyrating on stage wearing nothing but a nude-coloured PVC bikini - shocked audiences and was branded “disgusting and embarrassing” by MSNBC presenter Mika Brzezinski.
Country singer Billy Ray told Entertainment Tonight: “Of course I’ll always be here for Miley. Can’t wait to see her when she gets home.
“She’s still my little girl and I’m still her dad regardless how this circus we call showbusiness plays out.
“I love her unconditionally and that will never change.”
*HARRY STYLES has brushed off TAYLOR SWIFT’s apparent dig at him during her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech.
When accepting the gong for best female video for her hit I Knew You Were Trouble, Taylor said: “I want to thank the person who inspired this song. He knows exactly who he is and now I’ve got one of these.”
It was assumed the 23-year-old singer was referring to ex-boyfriend Harry, 19, who was in the audience.
The One Direction star was asked about Taylor’s comment at the This Is Us New York premiere, and the heartthrob told Extra: “It’s alright, she likes a joke. I like a joke as much as the next guy, so it’s all good.”
*AMANDA SEYFRIED has revealed that playing EVA CASSIDY would be her dream role.
The Lovelace star said portraying the late Songbird songstress on screen would be top of her list, alongside US politician HILLARY CLINTON.
“I’d like to play Eva Cassidy, I’d like to play Hillary Clinton. Those are the two,” she said.
The 27-year-old admitted she would be ready to tune up again after singing in Les Miserables and Mamma Mia!.
Eva, who died of melanoma in 1996 at the age of 33, enjoyed posthumous musical success with three UK number one albums.
“Eva has an amazing story and then she was gone. She has this whole catalogue of music – she’s amazing.
It’s tragic,” Amanda continued. “I love singing too, I love her music and I would love to play her. That would be fun.”
*CHARLIE SHEEN has jetted to Alaska – to hunt for a half-otter man.
The Anger Management star and some friends flew to chilly Sitka on his plush private jet in a bid to track down the mythological creature Kushtaka, reported TMZ.
Former hellraiser Charlie said the creature is “a shape-shifting trickster who is half man, half otter”.
“It lures one away from the campsite with the mimicked sounds of a crying baby, then kills you, takes on YOUR form, and returns to the scene for more suckers or prey,” claimed the former Two And A Half Men star.
However, the mysterious creature eluded Charlie this time.
“It obviously knew our group was far too skilled to be snowed in this fashion so it stayed hidden like a sissy,” said the 47-year-old.
Charlie’s latest adventure comes just weeks after he flew to Scotland to hunt for the Loch Ness monster.
*ED SHEERAN has claimed that most women would rather mother him than bed him.
The Give Me Love singer doesn’t see himself as a heartthrob and told People that although he gets attention from females they usually just want to look after him.
The 22-year-old, who is currently single, said: “If you speak to most women, they want to take me home and mother me rather than take me to bed. I just have that impression.”
British singer-songwriter Ed also admitted he hasn’t quite got used to seeing the ladies get so excited at his shows.
The star, who performed at the MTV Video Music Awards at the weekend, said: “I find the whole concept of women screaming at me so odd. It’s very flattering, but I don’t think I will ever consider myself to be a sex symbol.”
