“There’s a certain bro code, you know what I mean? I’ve known her a long, long time.”
*KATY PERRY has claimed she is too old to wear skimpy outfits, now that she’s 28.
In the past, the Firework singer has stripped to pose naked on a cloud for one song, and squirted fake cream out of her bra in another.
But she told The Sun that she’s just too old and will be covering up from now on.
She said: “I’m just getting a little older and realised I can’t pull that off any more. If I had RIHANNA’s body I would wear everything Rihanna wears, she looks fabulous in all of it.
“I want to keep the attention on my music. I have confidence in my songs, that’s where I need most of the focus.”
*DANIEL RADCLIFFE says that he has a “massive” chip on his shoulder when it comes to showing he can act.
The Horns and Kill Your Darlings star, who rose to fame as a child actor in Harry Potter, told the New York Times that his movie past made him wonder whether other people doubted he could really act.
“I have a massive chip on my shoulder,” the 24-year-old said.
“When you fall into something at age 11 and get paid incredible amounts of money for your entire teenage years for doing a job anyone would want, there is a part of you that thinks everybody is just saying, ‘He got there because he fell into it; he’s not really an actor’.”
But the star added that he felt he’d started to lose his self-doubt.
“I feel it less nowadays. It has taken a long time to feel like I’ve earned the place that I’m at.”
*SINEAD O’CONNOR has written an open letter to MILEY CYRUS offering her advice on how to survive in the music industry.
After Miley told Rolling Stone she had based her video for Wrecking Ball on Nothing Compares 2 U, Sinead responded on her website.
She wrote: “I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ’cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether it’s the music business or yourself doing the pimping...
“I am happy to hear I am somewhat of a role model for you and I hope that because of that you will pay close attention to what I am telling you...
“They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it’s what YOU wanted and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.”
*DAVID MITCHELL has speculated that the next series of Peep Show could be the last, as the characters are getting too old to live together.
The comedian, who plays Mark alongside ROBERT WEBB as Jeremy, said there was “certainly a possibility” that the upcoming ninth series could see the show draw to an end.
He told Digital Spy: “They’re getting older, you know, and they’re a bit old to be sharing a flat together. It’s always been heightened reality, but it’s always been a credible reality on Peep Show and I think if it got to a stage where people were saying, ‘I don’t understand why these people are cohabiting’, then it would’ve jumped the shark.
“So I think we’ve got to contemplate the possibility of it winding down. But who knows, 20 years later, they might come back together in old age.”
*CHER has revealed that she wasn’t happy with Burlesque, saying she “didn’t like” her performance in the film.
The 67-year-old singer and actress played a burlesque club owner in the Golden Globe-nominated musical film, alongside CHRISTINA AGUILERA who made her movie debut as an aspiring singer and dancer wanting to make it big.
Cher told the Los Angeles Times: “It wasn’t a good film. It had a few good moments, but I didn’t even like my performance that much.”
She added: “What, I don’t have a brain? I’m old but I’m still pretty on top of everything.”
