INSIDER: Today's celebrity gossip from around the world
JOANNA LUMLEY has revealed she would definitely be up for an Absolutely Fabulous reunion.
The 67-year-old admitted she would be open to reprising her role as booze-loving Patsy Stone alongside JENNIFER SAUNDERS’ Edina Monsoon in the TV series, which returned for three special episodes in 2011 and 2012, after previously ending its second run in 2004.
“Let’s wait and see what Miss Saunders does, because she’s the one – she’s the fountain of all writing on that,” she said.
“If she writes something else, we’re all there. We just go, ‘Yeah, please, please’. She’s just done a book so that’s going to be great. I haven’t read it yet, but I think I’m in it, I hope I’m in it.”

*LOUIS WALSH has said he prefers working with SHARON OSBOURNE on The X Factor because she is “more fun and reliable” than TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS.
Sharon is back on this year’s judging panel and has taken over Tulisa’s vacant seat.
Fellow judge Louis told the Daily Mirror: “Working with Sharon again is fun. Love her, it’s fun going to work, it’s not like working. We all get on incredibly well this year.”
When asked how different Sharon was to Tulisa, he added: “She’s more fun. And reliable. Oops!”
8CHLOE GRACE MORETZ has said she drew on her own experiences of bullying to portray a tormented school girl in her new movie.
Chloe stars as Carrie in a reimagining of Stephen King’s classic horror novel of the same name, about a bullying victim with special powers who goes on a revenge rampage at her school prom.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the film, the 16-year-old Kick-Ass star said: “I think everyone has experienced bullying at some point in their life, whether it’s just someone making you feel inadequate, making you feel not skinny enough, making you feel not pretty enough, your hair is not enough good enough.
“I think everyone has had a form of bullying in some way, whether it’s physical abuse or mental abuse.”
*EMMETT J SCANLAN has revealed he will start work on the second series of The Fall in February.
The former Hollyoaks actor played policeman Glen Martin in the crime thriller and tweeted about starting work on the follow-up.
He tweeted: “Start shooting The Fall season 2 next February. By the sound of it, it’s gonna be f****** awesome. Can’t wait...”
The series about a serial killer, played by JAMIE DORNAN, being pursued by GILLIAN ANDERSON’s ruthless detective, ended with a cliff-hanger in June when it looked as though the murderer would escape justice.
*AMANDA HOLDEN has said she thinks SIMON COWELL will make a great dad and will be the best parent from the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.
The ITV show judge said she thought her friend Simon had underestimated how much he would love his child.
She said: “All I’ve said before is that I think he underestimates how much he’s going to love that baby, and how much he’s just going to do anything and everything for it, and how life will utterly change.
“It doesn’t matter how much help he can afford or the other things he keeps joking about, and joking about leaving all his money to various dog’s homes, none of that will happen.
“He’ll fall in love with that baby and that will be it. That will be who his true love is in his life.”
*AVRIL LAVIGNE and husband CHAD KROEGER have recorded their first duet.
The pop-rock singer and the Nickelback rocker – who married in the South of France in July – have joined forces for power ballad Let Me Go, which will be released on Avril’s new self-titled album in November.
But the piano-backed track does not reveal much insight into the newlyweds’ relationship as they sing about breaking up and moving on.
