Ilfracombe couple to embark on 300-mile charity cycle
A PAIR of Ilfracombe ice cream moguls are preparing for a 300-mile charity cycle in South East Asia.
Peter and Mary Small, who run Joe Delucci's and Marshfield Farm ice cream parlours on the Quay, will spend seven days cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia to raise £5,000 for North Devon Hospice and Breast Cancer Care.

IN GEAR: Peter and Mary Small prepare for their mammoth cycle ride in South East Asia.
The couple's expedition will start in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and take them through banana plantations and sugar fields before finishing at the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Peter has previously raised more than £3,000 for Breast Cancer Care after a trek to Everest Base Camp in 2007. Mary, whose family used to own the Collingwood Hotel, wanted to support the North Devon Hospice as a thank you for the way they cared and supported her mother Wilma who died in 2008.

The pair are hosting a fundraising quiz at the George and Dragon on Fore Street on Tuesday, October 23 from 7pm. The evening will include food tasting and a charity raffle and auction.
