Injured crash man out of intensive care
THE family of a 19-year-old man who was seriously hurt in a car crash are by his bedside in hospital while he recovers from life-threatening injuries.
Zac Pepper, from Torquay, suffered head injuries after crashing into a wall on Old Mill Road in the early hours of Sunday, September 8.
He was taken to Torbay Hospital and treated in the critical care unit.
It is believed he was in a coma for a period of time but is now making a recovery.

It is also understood he has been taken out of intensive care and his condition is stable.
Emergency services were called to Old Mill Road at the junction with Goshen Road at 5.30am.
They found a blue Fiat Punto had hit a wall.
No other vehicles were involved.
The road was closed at the junction with Ashfield Road for four hours while the scene was cleared.
