Invitation to see changes to school
TWO events will help mark the 30th anniversary of Kingsacre Primary School in Braunton.
The school is holding an open afternoon tomorrow from 2 to 3pm followed by its summer fair.
Anyone with connections to the school – ex-teachers, former pupils or governors – is invited during the afternoon for a guided tour.
They will be able to see how the school has changed, particularly in the last two years, when major internal works have taken place.

It has been redecorated and alterations have made it easier to get around. Group teaching areas have also been provided.
An open plan thoroughfare has also been created through the middle of the school.
During the afternoon photographs and archive material will be on display and at the end of the school day pupils will be performing the school song, which many ex-students will recognise.
It is one of several favourite pieces the children have recorded for a fundraising CD which parents will be able to order.
Following the school song the fair will go into full swing.
There will be stalls and various displays by school clubs and other groups from the community.
Entrepreneurial pupils will also be running their own mini stalls as part of a Year Six apprentice project.
