Jewellery and television stolen in festive break-in
BURGLARS stole a large amount of jewellery and a television from a couple in their 60s in a raid over the Christmas break.
The house in Higher Town, Sampford Peverell, was broken into between 11am on December 21 and 2.30pm on Boxing Day.
Items stolen included a valuable 18-carat gold ladies' ring with rubies and diamonds, several other gold and silver rings and a Panasonic 26in flat screen TV.
