Joyce is relishing Yeoman's presence
Torquay United's striker Ashley Yeoman is set to make his first Southern League Premier Division start for Bideford at home to Corby Town today.
Devon-born Yeoman, 21, scored 12 goals in a 15-match loan spell for Sean Joyce's Robins in 2010 helping Bideford clinch promotion from the Western League after claiming their tenth Premier Division title. He will again team up with former Torquay winger Saul Halpin at Bideford, whom he has joined on a three-month loan spell.
Joyce admitted: "The great thing about Ashley coming in is that he knows us and I know him. I don't have to start from scratch with him.
"He was a good striker and got goals when he was here the last time and then he was still a teenager, since then he has scored for the first team at Torquay and got more experience under his belt. I am really looking forward to seeing him play for us again because I know he will fit in well with the lads."

Joyce is without suspended pair Craig Duff and Rob Farkins today but welcomes back industrious midfielder Matt Bye as Bideford bid to maintain their nine-match unbeaten league run following last Saturday's 2-1 FA Cup knock-out at Yate.
Bye made his return from suspension in Tuesday's 3-0 Devon St Luke's Challenge Cup defeat by Plymouth Argyle, when Joyce fielded a mixed team of reserves and three players who featured at Yate.
Joyce was heartened by the performance of the "reserves" after the FA Cup defeat.
He said: "You can't knock the lads for one poor half in 11 matches. They've been fantastic in the league and we beat Larkhall in the previous round of the FA Cup.
"Now it's back to the bread and butter, back to the league and a tough match against Corby who had a good win in the week."
Corby – who recently signed former Aston Villa midfield ace Lee Hendrie – beat Mickleover Sports 5-2 in a midweek FA Cup second qualifying round replay.
Truro City bid to bounce back from a 3-2 FA Cup knockout at Western League Brislington when they host St Albans City in the league today. St Albans beat Billericay Town 2-0 at home in the cup last week and arrive at Treyew Road seeking to get back on track in the league following three successive Premier Division defeats.
Truro – managed by Steve Massey – have signed striker Ben Watson and re-signed defender Aaron Pugh from Dorchester Town.
