Kasabian drop by to warm up for charity concert
Rock fusion kings Kasabian have announced a show at Plymouth Pavilions on March 20, one of just two intimate warm-up dates for their Teenage Cancer Trust headline concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London two days later.
Born in a place where psychedelia meets Britpop and indie dance, the five-piece from Leicestershire last performed in the Westcountry back in 2009, playing a triumphant set at the Eden Sessions.

Kasabian are heading for Plymouth
Since forming at school in the late 1990s, the group have racked up four huge-selling albums – Kasabian (2004), Empire (2006), West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, which was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 2009, and Velociraptor! in 2011, and a string of UK chart single hits, including Fire, Empire, Club Foot and Shoot The Runner. They are nominated for the Best British Band gong at this year's NME Awards.
Tickets for the Plymouth show were on sale at 9am this morning from the Pavilions box office, limited to six per order.
