Law firms merge
TWO long-established legal practices in Torbay — WBW Solicitors LLP and Bynes — have merged.
Steve Bulman, manager partner of WBW, which has offices in Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey, Exeter, and Torquay, said: "The merged firm will create one of the strongest legal practices in Torbay, bringing together two long-established firms which will offer a full range of legal services to current and future clients.
"There will be no change to any personnel and the firm's litigation department will continue at the existing offices of WBW, at Tor Hill Road, and the conveyancing and private client department will continue at Bynes' existing offices in Union Street."
Bynes Solicitors was established 35 years ago and its friendly and personal service will continue under the new merged firm in which John Byne and Michael Hayman will become consultants and Alasdair James a partner.
